Ingredients
- 3 Large Apples (thinly sliced)
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 30g Sugar
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 50g Butter (melted)
- 1 sheet Shortcrust Pastry
Cooking Method
- The Bloom Whisk melted butter, honey, and spices with a 10ml splash of warm water; the liquid will swell the spice oils.
- The Build Arrange apples on the pastry; paint heavily with the spiced honey silk.
- The Bake Roast at 200°C for 25 minutes until the edges are rock-hard charred.
- The Final Flourish Finish with a squeeze of raw lemon zest and a final dust of cinnamon.
