THE CINNAMON FRUIT-ORBS
(Our Play on Balkan Gomboce / Plum Dumplings)
Ingredients: 500g Potatoes (mashed), 200g Flour, 1 Egg, 10 Plums (pitted), 2 tsp Cinnamon, 0.5 tsp Nutmeg, 100g Breadcrumbs, 100g Sugar, 50g Butter...

- 0.5 tsp Nutmeg
- 100g Breadcrumbs
- 100g Sugar
- 50g Butter
Cooking Method
- The Build Knead potatoes, flour, and egg into a soft dough. Wrap a piece around each plum.
- The Boil Simmer in water until they float; remove and drain.
- The Architect Fry breadcrumbs in butter until golden.
- The Bloom Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar to the pan with a tiny 10ml splash of warm milk; the sudden hiss will release the spice oils.
- The Marriage Toss the boiled orbs in the spiced crunch until heavily coated.
- The Final Flourish Serve hot with a final dust of raw cinnamon.
