THE CINNAMON FRUIT-FOLD
(Our Play on Apple & Cinnamon Crepes)
Ingredients: 2 Large Apples (finely diced), 50g Butter, 2 tbsp Brown sugar, 2 tsp Cinnamon, 0.5 tsp Nutmeg, 1 tsp Vanilla extract, 20ml Warm water...
Ingredients
- 2 Large Apples (finely diced)
- 50g Butter
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 20ml Warm water
Cooking Method
- The Architect Melt butter and sugar in a pan until it bubbles.
- The Bloom Add spices and vanilla with a tiny 10ml splash of warm water to release the perfume.
- The Scorch Toss in apples; fry on high heat until the sugars char and form a thick red-brown lacquer.
- The Assembly Fold the spiced fruit into pre-made crepes.
- The Final Flourish Dust with raw cinnamon sugar and top with raw whipped cream.
