Ingredients
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 3 Apples (sliced into thin half-moons)
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 30g Sugar
- 50g Butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp Honey
Cooking Method
- The Shape Lay apples in a circular pattern on the pastry.
- The Bloom Whisk melted butter, honey, and spices with a tiny 10ml splash of warm water; the liquid will swell the cinnamon oils.
- The Scorch Paint the apples heavily with the spiced silk; roast at 200°C for 20 minutes until the edges are blackened and puffed.
- The Final Flourish Brush with raw honey while still hot; top with raw lemon zest.
