THE CINNAMON FRUIT-CRUST

Ingredients: 4 Fresh Figs (halved), 4 Slices of Baguette, 1 tsp Cinnamon, 0.5 tsp Black pepper, 100g Goat's cheese, 2 tbsp Honey...

Ingredients

  • 4 Fresh Figs (halved)
  • 4 Slices of Baguette
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 100g Goat's cheese
  • 2 tbsp Honey

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Toast the bread until the edges are blackened and charred.
  2. The Bloom Whisk honey and spices with a tiny 5ml splash of warm water to create a thick aromatic syrup.
  3. The Assembly Spread goat's cheese on the bread; place a fig half on top.
  4. The Marriage Drizzle the spiced honey silk over the figs; grill for 2 minutes until the honey bubbles.
  5. The Final Flourish Top with raw fresh thyme leaves for a sharp finish.
