THE CHIPOTLE SPUDS
(Our Play on Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Chipotle)
Ingredients: 600g Sweet Potatoes (cubed), 1 tbsp Chipotle in Adobo (minced), 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Garlic powder, 3 tbsp Olive oil, 1 tbsp Honey...
Ingredients
- 600g Sweet Potatoes (cubed)
- 1 tbsp Chipotle in Adobo (minced)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Honey
Cooking Method
- The Mix Toss spuds with oil, chipotle, and dry spices in a bowl.
- The Bloom Add a tiny 15ml splash of water to the bowl; the moisture will help the chipotle paste coat every cube.
- The Scorch Roast at 200°C for 25 minutes until the edges are blackened and charred.
- The Marriage Drizzle with honey while still hot from the oven.
- The Final Flourish Finish with a dusting of raw chili flakes and fresh coriander.
