THE CHIPOTLE CHOCO-ORBS

Ingredients: 200g Flour, 150ml Warm water, 1 tsp Yeast, 100g Dark chocolate (melted), 50ml Double cream, 1 tsp Chipotle powder, 1 tsp Cinnamon, 1 tsp Vanilla, 2 tbsp Honey...

Ingredients

  • 200g Flour
  • 150ml Warm water
  • 1 tsp Yeast
  • 100g Dark chocolate (melted)
  • 50ml Double cream
  • 1 tsp Chipotle powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tbsp Honey

Cooking Method

  1. The Build Whisk flour, water, and yeast into a tacky dough; let rise for 1 hour.
  2. The Bloom Whisk chipotle and cinnamon into the melted chocolate with a 10ml splash of hot cream; the heat will release the smoky spice.
  3. The Scorch Drop dough orbs into deep oil; fry until rock-hard golden and charred.
  4. The Marriage Drench the hot orbs in honey, then drizzle heavily with the spiced choco-silk.
  5. The Final Flourish Finish with a pinch of raw sea salt and crushed hazelnuts.
