Ingredients

  • 100g Semolina (Sooji)
  • 400ml Water
  • 100g Sugar
  • 50g Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • Saffron strands

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Toast semolina in ghee on high heat until it smells nutty and turns golden.
  2. The Sweeten Add sugar and cardamom; boil water separately then pour into the pot.
  3. The Marriage Stir constantly until the liquid is absorbed and the halwa is thick and glossy.
  4. The Final Flourish Top with crushed almonds and saffron strands.
