THE CABBAGE-LATTICE PANCAKE
(Our Play on Japanese Okonomiyaki)
Ingredients: 200g Cabbage (shredded), 1 Carrot (grated), 100g Flour, 2 Eggs, 50ml Water, 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp Soy sauce, Mayonnaise, Dried seaweed flakes...
Ingredients
- 200g Cabbage (shredded)
- 1 Carrot (grated)
- 100g Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 50ml Water
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Dried seaweed flakes
Cooking Method
- The Mix Whisk flour, eggs, and water; fold in the cabbage and carrot until coated.
- The Scorch Pour into a hot oiled pan; flatten into a thick disk and fry for 4 minutes per side until charred.
- The Bloom Whisk the silk sauces with a 15ml splash of water; brush heavily over the hot pancake.
- The Marriage Drizzle with mayonnaise in a lattice pattern.
- The Finish Top with a massive hit of seaweed flakes and pickled ginger.
