Ingredients: 400g Button mushrooms (halved), 1 tsp Dried Thyme, 1 tsp Black pepper, 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp Honey, 50g Butter, 2 cloves Garlic (minced)...

Ingredients

  • 400g Button mushrooms (halved)
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 50g Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Fry mushrooms in a dry pan on maximum heat until dark brown and charred.
  2. The Architect Add butter and garlic; sauté until golden.
  3. The Bloom Add thyme and pepper with a tiny 15ml splash of balsamic; the steam will release the woody aromatics.
  4. The Marriage Add remaining balsamic and honey; toss until it forms a thick, dark red lacquer.
  5. The Final Flourish Finish with a massive hit of raw fresh parsley.
